Centre St. Chiro
16 Centre Street was first opened as a chiropractic clinic in 1957. Dr. Ruth Floros opened her practice in 1995. Dr. Brogan Courtney joined the practice in 2021. The clinic is centrally located in Picton at the corner of Queen and Centre streets.

The chiropractors apply manual therapy, laser, ultrasound, muscle stimulation, the use of the Impulse instrument, acupuncture and exercise/yoga instruction
OUR TEAM

Dr. Ruth Floros
Dr. Ruth attended McMaster University in Hamilton where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. She continued her studies at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto and graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Ruth then continued her studies to become a Registered Yoga and Meditation Teacher and later on a Certified Pilates Instructor. During the time Dr. Ruth was enjoying a successful practice in Toronto, she experienced the bucolic charm of Prince Edward County as a visitor. Shortly after in 1995 the practice in Picton was established. Therapeutic intervention with patients focuses on manual therapy, Impulse Instrument, laser, ultrasound, muscle stimulation and exercise/yoga instruction. Results are measured and shared with patients on a regular routine.

Dr. Brogan Courtney
Dr. Brogan Courtney was born and raised in Picton, ON and grew up playing a variety of competitive sports. This is what sparked her interest in Chiropractic and led to her study of Kinesiology at Queen’s University. She graduated in 2017 with Deans List honours. During her undergraduate studies, she volunteered at Kingston General Hospital in the elder life and cardiac centre programs. She also developed and ran an exercise for chronic pain class at the Kingston Community Health Centre.
Dr. Courtney furthered her studies at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where she graduated Cum Laude in 2021. During her internship, Dr. Courtney worked at the Bowmanville Health Centre, where she gained experience treating patients with hip and knee osteoarthritis through the GLA:D program. She has experience treating a variety of conditions, such as: jaw dysfunction, pregnancy-related pains, as well as sport-injuries. She also has her certification in
Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University.
Dr. Courtney’s goal is to optimize the way you move and facilitate healthy aging. She is happy to be able to serve her hometown community!
